Ocmulgee WMA Shooting Range

I only give 3 stars because of the signage. It says you need a fishing or hunting license to shoot here. The range itself is nice, but the requirement of a license, just to shoot your guns is kinda ridiculous.

Inexpensive, but depending on your location, it could be a long drive. You also need to purchase license, but for seniors it was $7. There's a pistol and rifle range and generally not crowded.

They finally started cleaning it up and put in division walls.

Best place to go and dump ammo

This place was a good place to shoot. But there was a lot of garbage. Bring your own targets and stands none are provided there.

Amazing open space for shooting any type of gun and artillery...

Great place to take new shooters to get familiar with firearms. No RSO’s are on sight but everyone that was out there followed all the rules of gun safety when handling their firearms. Wish people would clean up after themselves. I usually try to clean up once a week but the more I clean the more people leave.

Just visited range to see the layout. Plan to return in the near future to actually practice some marksmanship.
