I came to Shoot Straight West Palm Beach to put about 150 rounds through my HK VP9 and, afterward, I was looking at the rifles near the entrance. Phillip greeted me and offered to help. I told him I was considering my first AR and had been looking at the Daniel Defense Mk18 10.3”. Phillip went above and beyond. He answered every question I had, from the feel of different controls to explaining the differences between a “budget” rifle and a $3,000+ rifle. He broke down where spending more truly pays off and where it’s more about name recognition. At my request, he even shared his personal preference for bullpups and gave honest opinions on what’s practical versus novelty. What really stood out was that this was near closing time, and Phillip knew I wasn’t buying that day, yet he still gave me his full attention and energy. His knowledge, professionalism, and passion made a huge impression. Guns are more than tools to me; they’re functional works of art. It’s rare for me to leave a review, but Phillip truly deserves recognition. Because of his help, I’ll continue to be a customer and recommend Shoot Straight West Palm Beach to others. Management should know they have a gem of an employee in Phillip, someone who shows the qualities you want in leadership.
