Indian River County Shooting Range

Love this range staff super friendly and helpful

Today I visited the range. It has been a while since I was nervous. Bill made our visit memorable. He could tell I needed a little help. He sat down and gave me some pointers, and I hit a bullseye. You can tell he is a natural leader. They need more guys like Bill out there, rather than some judgmental ones. Thanks, Bill, I'm looking forward to coming back to practice more. We had a blast!

Great place for outdoor shooting practice!

Great place, clean and staffed with very friendly people. Trick is to "register" online before you go. Donthe registration on the indian river county website. This way when you show up they just print your ID card. I believe everyone using the range needs one. Skeet shooting under the lights on Thursday nights (as of Aug 2025). Archery range, Pistol, Rifle and Skeet. I drive from down south 45 mins, totally worth it.

It was the end of the day and the guys took extra time to show me the ropes... very cool.

Came here visiting family to get some reps in with my rem 700 and cz 452. If the former Verizon cellular salesperson cosplaying range master is still somehow employed, wear plates and don’t let him touch your rifles. The guy is dangerous and lacks basic firearm handling knowledge. He almost dropped both of mine trying to handle them without asking before I even took them out of the case. That was right after he beelines to me the moment I got there trying to “teach” me how to staple my target onto my fancy cardboard backer because he hadn’t seen me before. I was embarrassed for him but then I realized he’ll probably get someone killed with his incompetence. Also had a terrible attitude and a clear authority complex. Really bad combination. My behavior was safe and professional from arrival to departure and I may have said a total of 10 words to him for the hour I was there until I left because of him. 0/10. Ruined that part of my day. Will not return
