Absolutely wonderful staff, super friendly, and educational RSO. Having new guns and a bit rusty with handling them they were very patient and helped us. Never have I had such a great experience. Thank you!
I took the All Ladies Handgun Class with the instructor Lori and I loved it. As a beginner, I appreciate the safety precaution this shooting range takes on. I can definitely see myself coming here more often.
I am sending my wife here today as I’ve heard a lot of good things here it will be her first time and she is definitely looking forward!!! I’ll keep you guys updated
I took the concealed weapon class with Laurie. She is an awesome and thorough instructor. She spoke highly of On Target Sports Range in Orange Park. The whole experience was very good. Thank you
Nicest indoor range on air quality in the area. Don't bring too many guns at once it's just tough. I really wish they had a better policy on zeroing rifles. We need a stable platform or I'm just limiting my zero to how shaky my hands are that day. The range price is very fair especially for the quality of the range. I left disappointed just due to the limited time and I mean I have to load my mags so I have to carry even more into the range and spend my very limited time loading magazines. It's just tough unless you are shooting pistols only with iron sights.
I’m very pleased with my experience at On Target. The staff are friendly, helpful and patient. They answered all my questions throughly. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a fun time! 10/10.
I have an annual individual membership and they just told me I can not shoot by myself if I don’t bring my own firearm with me , they’re talking about for suicidal prevention and blah blah blah, so I nicely asked what’s the point of getting an ( individual ) membership if I can’t shoot by myself or rent ? when my membership states I can and even at a discounted price and they replied oh uh oh uh oh sorry for the inconvenience , I also notice that every time I come in they request a demonstration of me showing them i can handle or use a firearm , literally they ask me to show them how to put it in safe mode and what not , I have a CCL ( show it to them every time ) have even taken courses with them in the past including my license certification, I’m not bashing on them but is annoying and I wanted to address this matter so that people are aware of this information and hopefully help someone save a trip and time , the gentleman who helped me get my license was very polite and knowledgeable and a true professional , he changed the way i viewed the whole concept about owning and responsibilities one should have in regards of firearms but also the legality of it , I’ll be forever grateful to him for that . 👍🏽
A man covered in tattoos racially profiled me and my son at the range. Without any evidence, he claimed to "allegedly smell a faint odor of marijuana" and immediately denied us access. There was no probable cause, no questioning—just an instant assumption and exclusion. It was clear from his demeanor and actions that this was not about policy or safety, but about bias. We were treated with suspicion and disrespect based solely on how we looked, and it was humiliating and unjust.
Honestly it was fun going as my first time. Just about everyone was really nice and the gun range was great. I didn't catch his name but this one blond guy at the front register with shaved sides, a pulled back man bun, and a beard seemed like he would rather us go anywhere else but there to shoot. I couldn't really tell why either, as far as I'm aware we were as respectful as possible and did everything they asked of us, plus I feel like if we were being a problem the other employees would also tell us but they were as friendly as could be. Eitherway, facility was clean and well managed, however, I do wish they had a better system in place for being "in line" at the front register as it could get a little hectic at times if I needed to buy more ammo or ask to trade in a firearm I was renting for another. Price wise, I think it was also decent but not great, however as someone who rented every gun and did not bring any ammo with him, it was not entirely unreasonable. 2 hand guns, the mpx, 4 boxes of ammo, a lane for 2 people, and if they had any first time shooter fees or anything, ran me about $210 or so. I'd be happy to go back I was just turned off by the one dude up front. Also while it is a bigger change and something that might not benefit everyone, I do wish they opened earlier on weekends and stayed open a little later on weekdays.
I love these guys. They are big on safety. Their air filtration is awesome. No gun smoke in the air choking you and you do t leave smelling like smoke. Best indoor range.
