Okeechobee Shooting Sports

The most disrespectful counter workers, deceitful memberships and outright rude range officers I've ever experienced. With the number of ranges in the area, it shocks me that these people have remained in business. I will never step foot in this dump again.

I traveled from the UK on an invite from my brother to go range shooting with him at Okeechobee Shooting Range. This was our first time visit and what a fantastic experience. I am not a stranger to weapons as I am ex Military but this has to be one of the most enjoyable times I have had at a range. George who was the range officer in charge of the 50 and 25 yard range was outstanding. He was very friendly and full of advice when needed, strict when it came to safety but totally understandable. Had a great time worth the flight just to come over and go to your range, will definitely be back.

Me and my buddies booked the private range from 9am-5pm today and we had a great time! Our Range Officer was Patrick and he was amazing throughout the entire day. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and offered myself and the group helpful/fun tips to use while shooting to enhance our experience. Front desk staff and lunch spot were also very friendly. 10/10 stars and we are all definitely coming back. Thank you all!

Okeechobee Shooting Sports is top-notch! The staff are true professionals who prioritize safety while making sure everyone has a great time. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the range is well-run and well-maintained. We spent the day shooting rifles and pistols to great effect, and the entire experience was both fun and confidence-building. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable, and professional shooting range in the area!

9/10 very friendly staff and good pricing. You don't have many outdoor shooting options in FL and luckily this is a nice one where you can shoot anything you want. Now there were a few negatives that wouldn't stop me from coming back but I wish were done better. On their metal target pistol range there's no net or walls between the stations, if there's more than 3-4 shooters or your not spread out then your going to be getting hit by brass repeatedly, and it's even worse when you bend or sit to reload your clips. Also at the same station the targets felt awkwardly placed and you would end up shooting targets that the shooters beside you may be trying to also hit. I also wish they had paper pistol ranges where you could change out your own paper target, the ranges where I'm from have a cable so you can reel the target in and out at your discretion, I don't like not being able to put up a new target whenever I want. All that said I'll happily be back in the future even without those changes.

Outstanding, range master was polite, professional and caring. Took my daughter for the first time shooting and she loved it. Bought a membership after the second visit.

Been hearing about this place for a long time and finally came with friends. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. Well thought out ranges with steel poppers, target ranges, rimfire only AND tannerite targets. Inexpensive too. RO's made sure everyone had a good time. We're all still grinning from the trip and planning a return very soon.

First time there yesterday 8/21/25. This is by far the biggest and best range operation I have ever been to. Huge store with vast selection of firearms, ammo, shooting supplies and more. Lots of friendly efficient staff inside and on the big well-designed ranges. Very convenient location for the region, east of Okeechobee off SR 70.

Hier ist alles super! Die Leute sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kosten sind in Ordnung, die Unterstützung beim schießen ist gut und man hat viel Spaß beim Austausch. Der Shop hat alles, was man braucht, zahlreiche C Schießbahnen für unterschiedliche Übungen sind vorhanden - alles fühlt sich sehr sicher an. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die das mögen.
