I went to Captain Ron a few years ago to take the class to get my CCW. I must say it was a very unique experience. I was a little uneasy but overall my experience was fine. He showed me off the wall videos that were totally unrelated to firearms training and he talked about conspiracy theories for at least an hour before we went out back shooting. If you’re a guy who is already proficient with a firearm like me then go for it and you’ll get a very entertaining experience and you’ll come back telling you’re friends the craziest story, but I can’t say I’d feel safe to allow a female to go there by herself. I can promise you if my wife ever goes to take a class to get her CCW I’ll make her go somewhere else.

Captain Ron is top notch on all aspects of firearms training. One of the best pistol marksmen that I know.

Ron wanted to put me under hypnosis so I could channel for him. So I agreed as long as he didn’t bring religion into it. We didn’t get very far before he became aggressive about trying to get me to repeat a religious statement. I refused, even under hypnosis I knew that it was wrong. He started insulting and berating me, calling me names and using circular logic to manipulate me into making a religious claim that I didn’t believe in. This is not the sort of person who should allowed to mess with peoples’ minds. He needs serious professional mental help. Even under hypnosis I was able to recognize the mental danger and raise myself to a conscious state and leave. Of course he aggressively berated me all the way to the door then continued to yell at me as I quietly walked to my car. Thankfully he didn’t lay his hands on me.

Great range even better instructor learned a lot in a two hour thank you so much Ron and blackwater tactical definitely will be back for more lessons
