Shoot Straight Fort Lauderdale

These guys offer a huge & great selection over at the Miami gun show and their regular staff is always super nice & helpful but the taller manager guy with glasses who is always in their handgun section has the worst attitude for someone who works for a retail company. During our conversation about a handgun I was asking for the best price & he told me that the best price was already on display and that he had been selling the firearm at that price no problem. I told him I completely understood and saw how they were selling well at that price but I just wanted to ask because I saw the same exact handgun was $80 cheaper online. With a childish attitude he told me "go buy it online then" and just turned around and walked away. I was still planning on buying the handgun either way because I didnt want to wait for shipping through online but his ego led him to lose a customer. I have bought guns from them on previous occasions but I will never stop by their tables again. Someone who works in retail nonetheless in a higher up position should be setting a positive example for their employees and not getting hurt by simple negotiation conversations. Sadly as I coasted around looking at near by tables I saw Mr.buyitonline treat other potential customers with the same attitude! Hope the owners or someone in charge does something about this because no one deserves to be treated like this by simply stating a better price or by asking a question and by the looks of other reviews they have a couple people experiencing the same thing with other interactions. You guys sell guns not diamonds. If dealing with curious customers or negotiations hurts your ego I think you're in the wrong field. Needless to say I ordered my firearm online and saved 80 bucks!!!

Friendly staff and good prices

Excellent experiences with both the range and store; I first found Shoot Straight a couple of years ago, when I met up with an USCCA instructor to finish qualifying for my CWL. I usually shoot outdoors, mostly because of the noise factor, but with a good set of ear protection I'm able to make things work. Overall, the range is kept up well, with great ventilation, cool A/C, and frequent rounds made by staff for safety. I wound up buying a membership, since I try to drop in least 2x monthly; during the summer/rainy season, shooting at the local outdoor range isn’t always a convenient option. Ammo and accessory prices are reasonable, they have a well stocked inventory, and it’s pretty easy to get range time as long as it isn’t peak hours.

I got helped by Diamond, great experience she helped me a lot and enjoyed all her recommendations, I would highly recommend coming to see her for all your firearm purchases.

Mathew and Jacob were great. This is the second gun I have bought from Shoot straight. Very patient very knowledgeable and helped me with all my questions. I willl definitely be coming back
