First Impressions – Pros & Cons CONS: The road leading up the hill before arriving is both curvy and narrow. On the road heading towards the range, there’s a large pothole. Luckily, you can easily drive slightly off-road to avoid it without making contact. PROS: Staff prioritizes safety and encourages everyone to speak up if the environment ever feels unsafe. Staff supervision is present but subtle—they watch from a distance, so you barely notice them. Rules are clear and consistently enforced. The atmosphere is set in a natural forest environment with picnic tables, giving it a relaxed, outdoors feel. The social environment is friendly, professional, and polite. I never once felt unsafe due to mishandling of firearms. I originally stopped by for research purposes, but ended up paying for a slot with my friend, and before we knew it, hours had flown by. Both the public and members were welcoming—some offered high-visibility paper targets, and a few even gave away free ammo (though of course, don’t expect this to always be the case). I also appreciated the helpful advice. A staff member noticed potential in my accuracy and politely asked if I wanted a quick tip. After accepting, I started landing headshots almost immediately! Overall, the experience was a mix of shooting, socializing, and learning. I had a great time and highly recommend this range. Pricing (2025) $10 for the first hour $5 for each additional hour Memberships are also available with added benefits. Good luck, and enjoy your time at the range!
