Excellent range with knowledgeable owner. Offers wide range of training classes - indoors and outdoors. Well worth it. Learned a lot while having fun.

Took the advanced tactical shooting course here and it was excellent. The trainers are experienced and provide practical drills that improve accuracy and response time. Facilities here are clean, modern and well-maintained.

Mahesh is very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He's not just a store owner, he's a guy who knows shooting and is enthusiastic about helping everyone get better. Great place to practice, too.

Wonderful learning experience. SSA offers the online course (which is amazing as you can go back for refreshers) and then the in person for certification and additional training. They are so knowledgeable and make the whole process so much fun - you leave wanting to come back for more!

Two girlfriends and myself signed up with Shooting Sports Academy for the CT pistol certification. Mahesh, the owner, was engaging, professional, informative and encouraging throughout our Practical Certification Course. We are definitely committed to continuing with some more instruction from him as he is very knowledgeable and a great teacher.

Mahesh, owner and NRA Instructor of Shooting Sports Academy was very hospitable while hosting the two day NRA NY/NYC concealed carry permit course. Mahesh has extensive firearms knowledge of safety and use. Safety is his number one priority when it was time to shoot in his range. I am fortunate to have his facility local to me to hone my firearms skills and knowledge. I recommend you visit and use the range.

Great Place for Shooters of All Levels! I recently visited this range with my daughter for her first shooting experience, and I couldn’t be happier with how things went. She was very nervous at first, but the gentleman working that day went above and beyond to help. He was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging, which gave her the confidence she needed to enjoy the experience. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for beginners and experienced shooters alike. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a supportive and professional environment to enjoy shooting. We’ll definitely be back!
