Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex

This range is very well operated the staff were overall great. Great family oriented range or what i consider a fundamentals range. Great if you wanna stretch a rifle out past the limitations of an indoor range. However, that’s all this range is really suited for from my experience. I’m no pro shooter but i am a better than average shooter that enjoys working different drills, shooting patterns, etc. I like to compete in defensive pistol stuff when I can and that requires a certain degree of competence developed from really running your gun relatively fast. This is not the range for that stuff. I did one 3 round sequence relatively quick and was immediately told 1 round a second. That’s usually my deciding factor whether or not I’ll be returning. Again great range but for my own personal needs i wont be returning unless I’m sighting in or just confirming zero. Maybe take my kids when they’re old enough to learn to shoot. But outside of that this range just isn’t ideal for people like me. Hope this helps, if not i dont really care. Get out and shoot!

First of all, I want to thank Range Safety Officer Dave for being the most pleasant, fun and yet very professional supervisor we could’ve wished for. Same for Stephanie, who was ready to help each one of our group of eleven people at any time. There were plenty of rental guns to chose from and more than enough space to rest, have some snacks, a cigarette and what not, right at the shooting range. All in all we couldn’t have gone for a better place to chose.

Firstly let’s start of by saying Pedro and Dave are superstars with customer service! This is my favorite spot to go to in Fountain! I recommend this range great prices and location

I have been shooting here for several years now. Overall, it has been well maintained, until recently. Range 4 is in need of some serious improvement. Several of the target stands are damaged to the point of being unusable, and almost all of the numbers that tell you which stands to use have been missing for quite some time. All of the personnel there are very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very professional. A few repairs and it will be back to top notch.

This place is one of the best out there! Tons of options, prices are more than fair. The personnel who work at the range are a pleasure to work with and are extremely friendly. This place is simply world class. So glad this is a local resource for the service members (and general public!) in the area. This place likely cuts way down on issues of shooting on unregulated public land nearby which has been a huge safety issue on other bases I have been stationed at.

Relatively new to the area and was glad I came here. Clean friendly and safe range. Pedro and the team do a great job. Don’t know why I’d go anywhere else. Thanks guys keep it up.

Ive been here with my family many times over the years. Is is an excellent outdoor shooting range. Pricing is very good, and there usually isn't much of a wait time.
