With all these regulations now. Buying a gun just isnt fun like it used to be. I couldnt buy a rifle because my id has a different address than where i sleep. My address being different because ive had to move 3 times in the last 5 years. And right now have some lucid crazy landlords.. i couldnt even understand until i left and an hour later i realized they are demonizing would be collectors as if im going to take a rare, collectible german made weatherby and hurt some one? So they have a place to know where to find me, but in the reality that list, affords whatever governmental power strategic power over an entire population! (THATS WHAT IS SCARY). Anyway, I couldnt get the digital id to work.. they sent every employee in the store to talk to me too, im fat, have spinal damage and standing there feeling like im being profiled. Though the employees were fantastic, patient and caring, all i did was sorely waste their time... That by the end of it i was so sad, frustrated and bitter about this country and about the whole ordeal, i had to just leave. Missing out on something i could be proud to own at an wonderful price for an exceptional rifle. (They have amazing prices by the way) Before id go get a cool gun, something worth keeping for the rest of my life, spend the day shooting in a park, somewhere in the mountains feeling free and just loving colorado. ... YOU CANT DO THAT ANYMORE Ive been shooting since i was 4 years old. I grew up on a farm in nebraska. First gun i ever shot was a pre war model 12 winchester, which i actually own now! Only gun i got from my family... and we went pheasant hunting down the gravel road. It kicked so hard i dropped it lol But our system is demented now. A back ground check should purely be associated to an id and ssn. Plain. Easy. Simple. The government instead, took the revenue and used it to lobby for stricter laws. PUNISHING US My bloodline dates back to 1615 for christs sake. My family signed the declaration of independence. There is a quarter that was made to commemorate something my direct ancestor did... and THIS IS WHAT WE DID ALL THIS FOR?! Just because i smell weird, or have greasy hair or wear tired old shoes, does not mean that im a would be killer. you wanna see a dirty guy? Visit a nebraskan farm... I study physics! In fact most physicists are eccentric and different. You wanna know why?! You hold the universe in YOUR brain and try to be normal... i dare you... I was working on an honorary phd for the last 10 years. Guns to me are toys. They are things that i can imagine the world and how it functions and predict it. In philosophy. True world peace is seeing a weapon as anything but a weapon. The people that fear. See weapons... thats who you need to worry about... im the philosopher that discovered that solution. It was so embarrassing that even if i find the winchester model 70 ive been looking for the last 4 years, i dont even want to buy it because the process is outrageous. I had to sign a paper. Fill out a background form. I had to change my address, then change it again to correct for mail delivery, then fill out another form that was one i seemingly already filled out, then stood there for an hour trying to get a website to work that provides me with my information, though i need an app that uses ios 15 instead of my phone’s older ios 14.... we are being put into a stranglehold people. I cant even get grocery store coupons without ios 15 anymore.... n its going to just get tighter and tighter. This noose on our freedoms.
Great family owned store and shooting range.
Wouldn’t even let me walk in they said “under state law I’m not able to be inside for the fact I’m not 21” even tho no Colorado law says people under 21 can walk into a gun store in Colorado, but they are prohibited from purchasing any type of firearm. Colorado law requires anyone buying a firearm, including rifles and handguns, to be at least 21 years of age, with only limited exceptions for active members of the U.S. armed forces
I had an excellent experience purchasing a firearm here, went with an Sig p365 and loved it ! Not an expert on Wepons, but I got expert help and direction. Purchased a perfect firearm for what I was looking for, excellent staff, super friendly and informative.
Never go anywhere else!! These guys are family.
Best gun store in the Denver metro area. Very wide selection of firearms and the store is combined with an updated range on-site. Family-owned business — all the staff are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Can procure anything and everything. Highly-recommend. This review is from an active service member.
Started off well and helpful, but the energy changed. Felt like my presence annoyed them even though I spent maybe 20 minutes in there.
I can't give a rating for the range. All I know is that they don't allow shotguns there. So I wasn't able to shoot.
Jordan is extremely rude. Just had a call for us to pick up an online order, the call failed and 30 seconds later she left the most rude message I have ever received from any business. “I am fixing to have this order cancelled unless you call back and explain to me why you just hung up on my employee” this really explains the terrible reviews. Have been in the hospitality industry for a long time and this type of service blows my socks off. Customer satisfaction=revenue. If you continue treating people as if you don’t want them to be your customers they will continue to run away from you. Edit: Reading through these reviews and seeing Jordan’s responses just shows how I shouldn’t of been surprised receiving the rude voicemail I received. Great way to run a business into the ground. Its amazing how she responds to the reviews with zero ownership and turns everything back on the customer, can’t wait to see her response to mine, really wish I could attach the voicemail here. Self awareness is a huge key component to success. Edit #2: Like I said in my review the call dropped was never rude until we received a snarky voicemail. Now to accuse us of a straw purchase is bizarre, would be more than happy to come by and we can both to a background check if that would help cool your fiery temper. Accusing someone of a straw purchase is not something I don’t take lightly. As an arms dealer you should be aware of this. Edit #3: We will not be giving you our business. There was no aggression displayed, there was frustration displayed after we received a voicemail stating that we need to explain ourselves by 6pm or your canceling our order. We owe nothing to you and for you to demand such “explanation” is extremely rude. We won’t be giving you our business but would be more than happy for both my wife and I to come by and do a background check. Just to prove your super ego wrong. Do you understand that there is no straw purchase? Do you understand what a straw purchase is?
