Reed's Indoor Range

MAKE SURE YOU ASK ABOUT ALL ADDITIONAL/HIDDEN FEES: My wife and I came into Reed's Indoor Range twice (9/14 & 9/15) and spoke with 5 employees over that time, who all communicated consistent information: "Firearm rentals for a Glock were $12 per firearm and a mandatory purchase of the range's ammunition: roughly $22.99+" (NO ADDITIONAL FEES/CHARGES WERE EVER COMMUNICATED, PRIOR TO RENTING) My wife and I shot the rental with the ammunition purchased and during check out, I was forced to pay an additional $20 per shooter(+$40) So what was originally advertised as a $35 transaction, suddenly became $80?? I questioned the 2 most recent employees I worked with why this information was never communicated beforehand and they said, "Because you never asked me." *LIE* And, "We just factor that into the price afterwards." *EXCUSE ME* I replied, "So, when I asked all of you (employees) 'How much does it cost to rent a firearm? And you say $12 per gun, plus the cost of ammo.' And none of the 5 employees I've worked with over the last 2 days ever tell me that there's an additional $20 fee per shooter -- then that's a clear lack of disclosure and communication of the fees to rent a firearm!" Lying and playing dumb can only get you so far before someone pushes for litigation. "You reap what you sew, gentlemen." I will not be giving this establishment my business. Hidden fees, lack of communication, and 40%+ marked up prices -- all leading your potential customers to shop elsewhere. *UNLESS THEIR DESPERATE* My advice, be a wise consumer: Plan ahead, make a budget, do your research, and shop at Bass Pro Shop, E2 Vault, Peninsula Guns and Tactical, TacticCAL Gun Store, EastBay Firearms, or Manzano Munitions... There's honestly so many other options.

Rude and impatient attendant

Ive been to many ranges and this one was really great. Though it is an indoor range so be ready for loud, it wasn't the loudest I've been too. It might have been that there weren't a lot of people there. We went on a Thursday afternoon. We were instantly helped by a gentleman who knew his stuff. You can shoot shotguns here as long as it is lead shot. We kept the two lanes for about an hour and ran through about 200 rounds. We then went out closed out our rental and went and looked at some guns. They has a nice selection of handguns as well as some rifles and shot guns. All seemed to be reasonably priced and the people behind the counter were knowledgeable. We will be back next time I am in town for sure.

It's a safe and well organized place

I called this gun range earlier today and the gentleman that answered the phone was super rude. I questioned the rules on the range. I stated I was an adult (18+ but under 21) and that I had a family member (21+) with a firearm and if I was able to shoot. He let me know in an extremely rude tone that I needed a mother or father to be present while I shoot that my family member wasn’t good enough. I explained to him that I was unable to have my parents present because they weren’t in town. And he stated, “well then you can’t shoot!” And then hung up on me. I was super unsatisfied with this experience and will never step foot in this establishment.

They don’t provide any instruction. You either have to KNOW how to shoot or you can’t shoot. This isn’t a cool place to learn how to shoot, they do not teach you. The staff is so not professional and not nice.
