Range Master

Had to resort to coming here after outdoor range on Hwy 1 closed thanks to DFW. First time the fee was $30 and since then has been $35. Since they don't post what the hourly fee is, I guess you can charge what you want. This latest visit (August 11) the little white string that sends and retrieves the target broke during an attempted target retrieval. I was charged $50 for a string that broke on its own and that I could see was thinner than a kite string and had multiple knots where it had been "repaired" previously. What a rip off!! It's not like I shot up the target holder or that the "damage" was caused by me!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. I'd rather drive over an hour to go to outdoor Winchester Range near Lake Cachuma. If it's such a pain to repair this string, maybe use something stronger and not rip your customers off; it's not like your business is thriving.

Not sure if they are going bankrupt or what the problem is. Still trying to get a refund on a canceled sale. Going on 3 months now. No return calls and if they do answer it's some one else's fault. Extremely disappointed.

Had great experience at Range Master today. I used their facility for my CCW renewal. The instructor, Chris, was a great. He was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. The indoor range was clean and well cared for. The RSO, Adam, provided additional insight and hands on training. The owner, John, was also very friendly, attentive and very efficient in handling all of the paperwork. Definitely a top notch training location.

The employees were very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. The store is nice and they have a good selection of items. The range is set up nicely with about 10 lanes. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to shoot or purchase goods.

Decent range, nice store, firearms for sale. Big parking lot. John (owner) is awesome. Very helpful staff.
