Rifle & Pistol Range - Field Sports County Park

Very safe, very experienced RSOs, and not too expensive. Very welcoming to new shooters as well.

I've gone here a couple of times with some friends and by myself, and I really like that it's being kept safe by active range masters. It also helps that they're pretty friendly and helpful when it comes to admiring others' guns or even helping out with things like sighting them in (just today one of the range masters helped a guy next to me sight in his optic). The stands are sturdy enough for any paper targets, and the firing periods are decently long (20 minutes), especially if you have multiple magazines to load up and shoot one after the other. I also just found out today that you can bring one of your own steel targets to the range, but only 2 at a time can be put up in the entire 100yd section. They have a wide variety of targets distances to choose from, so you can enjoy shooting probably anything you have. I haven't tried out the 200yd range yet, but I've heard it's fun. UPDATE: The 200yd range is pretty nice as well, it's run pretty similar to the standard range except the firing periods are longer and the ceasefire periods are similarly longer to allow for travelling downrange to manage targets. Overall I would highly recommend either the pistol/rifle range or the 200yd range!

Been going here over the course of my adult life. Always friendly staff and range masters. It is my preferred range in the south bay.
