This isn't the most fancy range, but good enough for the picky person I am. The staff, the pricing, the vibe and the experience have proven to be the best indoor shooting range I have returned to shoot at. I've had my wife at a couple other indoor ranges and she see it how I do. We'll be back again.

Amazing staff, cool spot. John was super nice and helpful and fielded a lot of my questions. Couple things I’d say are their ammo is pretty expensive. if you rent, then you are restricted to purchasing the ammo thats 100% marked up. But if you have your own guns, then you can bring your ammo as you please, so theres the upside. Other thing, the handguns I used were very due for a cleaning. So much carbon build up, mags were sticking and very, very hard to load up (m&p mag, glock mags was fine), mags failing to seat, mag would EJECT ITSELF after every shot off a glock 19. really wish i got this on video to add it in the review, but i just gave the gun back to the counter instantly after the mag dropped out of the magwell after 3-4 shots and me replacing it each shot to see if it will happen again, i made sure my hand was not hitting the mag release. The M&P 2.0 that I tried out had a broken slide release spring inside or some component in that slide release system, and preventing me from using the slide release. This was discovered by the counter attendant, not just my own diagnosis. And the red dot was visibly seated crooked on frame and off zero by a significant amount, had to have that re adjusted at the counter. All in all, i went here to test fire some handguns that I was shopping for. I left more confused on which one I wanted. Both guns I tried were not in reliable, clean, or in functioning condition for me to make my informed choice. Spent $100 to walk away still not knowing which handgun I wanted. The place is really great though, still. This is NOT an angry customer hate-review. I simply am being transparent about my experience. Ive been here before this time, brought my cousins, we shot and had fun. But this is the second I came here, I came to test fire some guns I was interested in, and the guns were in no condition to give me clear results to make my comparison and decision on which one I should trust my family’s and my life with. I understand the handguns go through +1,000 rounds a day, get handled constantly, etc. but that should then also warrant for much more frequent cleanings, TLC, repairs, and functions checking. Handing over a gun to a customer that had a piece inside that is broken is pretty unsafe, it could have a catastrophic malfunction on the person. This is up to whoever cleans the guns to be more vigilant in checking functionality, as well as the last line of defense, the person behind counter to check also real quick on all functions before finally handing the gun off. I hope Evans Staff see this and not feel like Im just writing angry after a bad visit. This is in hopes that they see this and begin cleaning and checking their guns more often before letting people come in, spend good money, and have problems the whole way through their sessions with malfunction after malfunction. I will be returning, thanks for whoever read this far. I just wanted to give a honest, detailed review of my visit. That $100 btw is broken down as so: $50 for 2 boxes of ammo (~$23 per) $20 lane rental $20 gun rental (its cool that you pay once to rent and can switch out endlessly, but then you end up forking over extra $ for the ammo thats marked up by 100% compared to turners for example) Taxes Its still pretty affordable in comparison to other spots, I guess i just had some bad luck on this visit with the guns being in not so good shape, making that $ not produce me results in terms of testing & comparing. Thats all. Peace. Stay safe, all. ✌🏼

I have been going here for three years. I always go midweek. During this time frame it is always busy but not overly crowded. They have a nice selection of firearms to rent. Found the gun I liked from the rental options. They also have a very competent gunsmith who helped repair one of my firearms. He determined the gun did not need as much repair as we thought and save me some money. He also upgraded a trigger on a different pistol. The owners and staff are very helpful. I also took firearms training for safety and learning firearms handling.
