I know a fair deal of people like to complain about this place and it's "clientele" I went on a good day. Had a blast. I would use this as my go to rifle range. I am hoping they can work on getting and keeping the 200yrd range open often. That's not to say its bad for pistol or mid rifle work. Its just not as good as closer, similar options for sub 50 yards. So if you hunt and are looking for a good spot to set up and test your rifle out. This is it. If your a USPSA shooter. This probably isn't going to give you the best bang for buck. But still a great place to get that standard basics down and run them. Then this place beats the price of others if your doing basic pistol drills as you can be here all day for the price of competitors. Overall. Staff is cool and relaxed in my experience. The only things I would ask is what I mentioned. We struggle to get a long range here that isn't north LA. These guys could really sell out those benches on the 200/300 if they catered to it. The only other thing. Its a little steep compared to other offerings. Now again. Open that 200+ up, the price is just right and you would be able to really cater to rifle shooters. As the pistol guys are typically going to look at other options. Overall. Go on a good day and you will have a blast no matter what. Its shooting at the end of the day. But keep in mind. You aren't going to be doing run and gun stuff here. Which is okay.

I went out with 5 Arrows Tactical Training. I had never been to Lytle Creek but was impressed by the range and the surrounding San Bernardino mountains. Darren and Charles are down to earth trainers. Much was learned.

Excellent outdoor range! Kid friendly! Polite staff with firm safety standards... Law enforcement does shoot here out of uniform, so if you are not out to have a good time shooting without drama this may not be the range for you. No one will know that your a criminal or gang member if you don't present it while there. Bottom line is; if your out to enjoy a day of SAFE shooting by yourself or with friends or family you will love it here. Make sure your long rifles are California compliant with 10rd magazines and bullet button & your pistols have 10rd magazines as well and your good. Eye and ear wear are mandatory here also. Enjoy! Eugene

Awesome range, Range Safety Officers are legit (Juan - you rock! and a fellow Veteran). The range is well maintained and clean with plenty of shade. I'll be going back very soon.
