Came here aug 9th and the door was closed. No reminder on Saturday closure on Google map or their own website. Wasted the whole Saturday because of this. Hope they can keep their calendar up to date.
I was a guest here last week. Shot a friend's rifle that was passed down from his Dad. It had not been shot in 40 years. Quite an event. Staff super friendly AND safety minded.
Great outdoor shooting range. Professional staff, and other shooter practicing on their gunmanship skills.
Awesome place with fantastic staff. Just about every type of outdoor range you could want. Great range staff, especially regarding safety. We watched a few people do some pretty dumb stuff, and the staff was on top of it and very polite. Read the bad reviews and you'll notice a pattern of people with bad attitudes or who sound straight up unsafe
Great location, nice range officers, and I like the amenities.
Went for the first time and could not have been more impressed with the quality of the staff. The facilities are beyond expectations. The staff are kind, respectful, helpful and just genuinely good people. I have been to other ranges mostly indoors in Santa Clara, and the staff are just rude! This -lace is the complete opposite. This place is beautiful and clean. I bought the full years pass because I have no intention to go back to the indoor place and have to wait 30 plus minutes to shoot for a hour at the most. I’m a fan of the Los Altos Rod and Gun Club!
I'm genuinely disappointed with how things played out at this venue. A group of guys was kicked out simply for wearing a fraternity shirt — no disruptive behavior, no trouble, just the shirt. The accusations that followed were based on assumptions and political talking points rather than facts. It's frustrating to see people judged not by how they act in the moment, but by sweeping generalizations tied to identity politics. If someone is minding their own business and acting respectfully, they should be treated accordingly — not preemptively punished for what they represent to someone else's ideology. Whatever happened to judging people as individuals? Everyone deserves a fair shot to enjoy their night without being treated like a stereotype. That clearly didn’t happen here.
