Yolo Sportsmen's Association

I completed my range portion today (6/28/25) at Yolo Sportsmen with Northern Firearms Instruction (NFI) to modify my existing permit. The facility is excellent, and the NFI team—Ted, Rob, and Kaimana—were outstanding. Despite 96-degree heat, the instructors maintained a positive attitude, were extremely professional, and kept the process smooth and efficient. They guided us through the shooting and paperwork quickly while making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. From now on, I’ll be processing all my modifications and re-certifications through NFI. These guys are top-notch. Thank you for the great day!

Great place to shoot 5 stand or wobbler

Great place to shoot. One drawback is that they only provide 1 target and you can't buy anymore of the same one. Next time I'll bring my own. Otherwise it seems like a pretty nice place.

Our instructor Kaimana Holokahi was a great trainer with our group today. He gave each of us excellent insight on what we were doing right and wrong at the range and had so much patience. We were all able to build a better confidence with our shooting technique. And we were very appreciative on giving us extra training time on the range and extra class information. I highly recommend taking his course dates in the future!
