Hobbs State Park Shooting Range

Went one time and will never go back , drove over an hour for a trashy range with a couple of guys that thought they were the rulers of the range

Awesome place,kinda sux when there is a lot of people there.

A good place to shoot rifles. Pistols are bit more challenging. Great drive to get there too.

Took my family for an enjoyable day at the range. It had been awhile since I had been to hobbs range. Use to go to practice for competition. Will not be going back, range was mostly younger people who don't clean up behind themselves, shooting ARs with binary triggers, my target was hit several times by the "not full auto" shooting wildly. If I wanted to go to a machine gun shoot I would have gone to Knob Creek. Not a family safe or safe range.

My husband visited the range some months ago and the same thing with the range Nazi(s), my husband was very uncomfortable with the racist comments and conversations on top of the attitude a couple of them had as if the area were their personal property.
