Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex

The guy at check-in had the personality of a cactus. He was abrasive, didn't ask many questions, and made many assumptions. I did not expect the range to provide a spotter/helper. Honestly, I didn't need one, but no one asked me. Luckily, I got paired up with a gentleman named Matthew who spotted for me and help me get my rifle dialed in. He was friendly, knowledgeable, asked questions, and listened. He turned an experience that started off at 2 stars into 4 stars. Jonesboro is really lucky to have a nice facility like this, but a little customer service training or more selective hiring criteria would make a huge difference. I totally understand how some people leave 1 star reviews based on which employee they interacted with.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex. The people working there are great. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They helped with some sighting issues we were having. Great overall experience.

The staff were extremely unprofessional. They treat the customers like crap, and when I asked a question about a promotion that I had heard about them running, the guy just completely brushed me off and did not answer my question. I even caught them passing glances at one another when I got to the gate (as if saying they weren’t going to allow me to enter). I should have known better when I pulled up and saw absolutely no one at the range (because they run everyone off with their attitudes). I will most definitely NOT be back ever, I will be taking my business to Scatter Creek in Paragould. Edit: I said absolutely nothing about rules in my review, the “owner” person should pay more attention to what they are reading before responding🤣

It’s nice to have a place to train and shoot that doesn’t cost a fortune. The guys at the pistol/rifle range are the best! They know you by name, and offer to help you with anything you may need. I’ve never had any problems. I’ll be a member as long as they’re open!

All the shill reviews, about how nice the staff are, is how you can tell that they aren't. Shotgun range may be nice but pistol and rifle are not.
