Peeler Gap Shooting Range

Free shooting range and there are still some that have chosen to shoot the signage and structures on site. The place is not monitored so keep your head on a swivel for those less careful shooters.

Better bring something to hold you targets up

Been here once, and the no wood, metal, or glass is kind of confusing considering metal and wood are easier to transport then cardboard boxes. Otherwise it's a clean range.

Go during the week in the morning. Afternoon the sun is shining in your face.

Clean and well kept.

Must provide your own targets and stands. Range faces west so sun is in your eyes late in day.

Loved driving over an hour to get there and the sign says "No wood, glass or metal." So explain to me what I'm supposed to attach my target to. When I got there multiple people were using Ar500 steel targets all the while a glass whiskey bottle sat on one of the benches. Tighten it up forest service. This is pathetic.

Good spot considering there isn’t much to choose from in this region. No complaints. Bring your own target stand
