My girlfriend and I came out to Second Knoll Shooting Range today to kick off Memorial Day weekend—and as always, this place delivered. This is hands-down one of the best public ranges in Arizona. Easy access, no long waits, and for just $10, you get a lane and often free targets. The range masters are top-notch—firm but fair, and always willing to help if you’ve got questions or need guidance. Just follow the rules, and they’ll take good care of you. The layout is smart—plenty of shaded areas, solid benches for your gear, and room to breathe. The backdrop? Stunning views of the White Mountains, making it a peaceful, focused environment to sharpen your skills. Whether you’re a first-time shooter or a seasoned marksman, I highly recommend you check this place out. Great staff, great people, and a safe, well-run range. Five stars all day.

Went with my mother in law on 5/4 and were the only ones there! We absolutely lucked out! Jeff, David and Greg were amazing and super helpful in giving pointers and overall having a good time with us for the two hours we were there. Highly recommend getting the membership from there as it will only cost $2 to shoot all day long! Will definitely be going again and can’t thank those men enough for making it a great time!
