Always a good day to hit the range
Great place to shoot
Paul runs a tight ship. Chris is a super good guy too! This is the best range I've ever been to. There is a 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard range for rifles. We've got the Ponderosa shooting range for pistols, as well as the pit, and a training range for people interested in controlled assault with both rifles and pistols. There is a skeet range as well.
Awesome place to shoot.
This range has gone downhill tremendously in the past few years. Things of note from my last visit. No rapid-fire range anymore. I was told this was a recent change because the owner decided so. No targets @ 300 yards. Again, owner decision. Aparently he got tired of replacing chain. Rather than getting a stand where he could weld the plates in, he decided just not to have a 300 yrd range. Overall range condition is poor at best. Fans are inoperable, no water provided anymore, most of the stools are broken in some way shape and form. Pistol range is almost always in bad shape, target stands just missing and not replaced. Nothing above 22 is allowed on the 25 yrd rifle range, but ar pistols are not allowed on Pistol range. So I guess no ar pistols. No RSO on our visit at either range. You largely have to govern yourselves at the ranges. Also the pull cord at the rifle range is inoperable and has been for some time. There is no way to easily go hot or cold without again, confirming with every individual on the range. Visits are expensive! 2 people for $42 and no longer offering military discount is absurd. Do yourself a favor and find a different range. Thank me later.
Great range 👌. Friendly staff.
