Cahaba River WMA Shooting Range

The range was great. Covered concrete benches and every target had its own steel plate. The only negative is the roads accessing it could use some repairs. Overall it was a great range experience.

Of course the only taxpayer funded range near me requires an all-terrain vehicle to access the site.

One of my favorite places to shoot. Much better than it was years ago. Wish they had a little more stations. It gets busy!!!

Well maintained public shooting range, manned with state employees RSOs. Rifle range goes to 100yds. Steel plate avaialble at each rifle bay at 100yd. There is also pistol area available with multiple bays. Shotgun range is seperate from the rifle/pistol area. You must sign-in at RSO building before shooting. A license is also required to shoot here. It can be hunting, fishing, or heritage license.

This place is GREAT!!! Very safe prodigal. Rifle and pistol range. They even have shotgun and clay shooting area. I am so glad Alabama Game and Fish have this available for us!
