Fantastic staff, super clean facility and great selection of guns, ammo and accessories!

Spent a day hitting gun shops around North Alabama trying to find a shotgun for my daughter and stumbled upon this shop on my way to another. Walking in it was very clean and organized but a lot of open product space. After looking around I did find a youth shotgun and a revolver to carry home with me. I took the shotgun to the counter to address a few minor issues with it and the poor kid was completely unprepared. He was very young and possibly new so I in no way lay this on him. For every question I asked he would have to step away to ask someone else. After a few rounds of this I asked if I could just speak to who he is getting his answers from so he didn't have to run back and forth. I watched from a distance as his manager brushed him and the situation off completely. Upon the kids return I was told pretty much "it is what it is" and "he is doing other things". Needless to say, I did not purchase the shotgun, the revolver, or the case of .410 ammo but thanked the kid for trying. In all my time working in the firearms industry (sales, manufacturing, and customer service) I have never seen a manager fumble like this. The fix to this issue would have been solved with minimal effort and the shop would have made a 2k plus sale. In a time where local stores are losing sales over prices and inventory, customer service can be the deciding factor for success. In this case it was a complete failure.

I went to practice last week and left a less than favorable review which I feel may have been a little unfair on my part. I had a difference of opinion with an employee that he was perfectly entitled to. Maybe could have kept n to himself but IDK. Timing and context can make a huge difference in some matters and that may have been the case here. After a call from the owner who I could tell quickly cares about his business, I feel I probably took a minor incident to serious and feel this guy wants nothing more than his customers to feel like they were treated right., and will do whatever needed within reason to see that happen. I would like to add that his call was not to talk me into editing my prior review. That was completely my call as I felt it was the right thing to do. His call was only to find out why there was an unhappy customer and resolve it. A real stand up guy and concerned business owner. Not only would I go back but plan to return next week.
Great folks and a nice facility!
Wife and I took our grandson to a birthday party. All the kids had fun . It was a Nerf battle, then a pizza party, and the kids loved it.
