Nice facility and knowledgeable instructor! Mr Monzingo will explain all aspects of your desired skill calmly and clearly. classes are reasonably priced per hour and are based off of performance meaning you must meet the criteria to pass the course. (e. Strike a penny at 100yds distance) If by chance you are having trouble learning the skill he will correct you in a respectful and informative manner. I can't reccomend this this place enough, they have something for every skill level and age. From new gun owners learning basics to competition shooters honing their craft, Gunport Academy is the place to be!

Great range, Great people, Great times.

I signed up for the four phase self defense class. I was expecting to be put on a waitlist but was able to start class right away. I was very happy to find out it would be one on one just the instructor and I. I feel the training was very helpful and the range we worked on had several different scenarios and situation’s to learn on. Gary the instructor is very patient and very knowledgeable and was very helpful in correcting Bad habits. I especially liked the last lesson which was night fire. Shooting targets totally in the dark. Using nothing but the night sights . Everybody at this range was very courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to experience shooters, who need a refresher or as a beginner who is never shot before.

I tried to shoot there today and the woman working there threatened us. She was screaming at our party saying we were violating range rules for a cold range When we arrived other patrons were shooting. I.e. a hot range. They never indicated to us that they wanted a cold range. We were standing not at all ready to fire. For a cold range you have to stand behind the red line for saftey. They were sitting at their firing positions. She never attempted to ask them about if they indicated a cold range or not. We then attempted to leave then she began yelling at us again telling us to never come back. She refunded our money we threw our membership cards at her. She escalated the situation by her aggressive and insulting behavior. I encourage anyone to never support this business.

Mr. Gary is very knowledgeable and great to work with.

I took a pistol lesson here with an instructor named Josh. He was excellent. The facility was excellent, great set up, lots of options and the customer service was spot on. I would highly recommend.
