Best range experience I've had in a while compared to other places. I had the place completely to myself. Eyes, ears and targets are provided. Very nice experience, I definitely will be returning!
Great range to visit. Staff is always willing to help.
The place was great and the training was good.
Double Tap has started to get into shooting matches. We had our second PCSL match on Saturday the Jan-25th with great success. Please go to the Double Taps website for further information regarding training and shooting matches, be safe and have fun!
I had not fired a handgun in years. I have heard really good things about Double Tap. I am 76 yr old and have a little of a balance problem. I called and spoke with Scott Recchio. I told Scott about my situation and he told me what time he would be at the range and would be glad to show me a few things. A few things became spending a few hours with me teaching me gun safety, how to grip, aim and shoot. He also gave me some drills that I could do at home that would improve my shooting skills. He made sure that I was safe and paid attention to make sure that I didn't over do it. Scott is a fantastic instructor. I had a great experience and will be going back. I recommend that you give Scott a call and let him know if you have any special situations or some goal you are trying to reach. It would be a good place to expose the family to the fun of shooting while learning how to do it safely and the right way.
Fantastic gun range.
Double Tap is the best place to get training in the entire state of Alabama. Scott and Christian (Common Ground Training) are the best guys around. It's not too often you find great people who generally care about you getting better.
