Great and friendly
They added steel targets to the 100- and 200-yard ranges!
Some folks frown on having to pay, BUT I think it’s a great way to contribute to a nice place where people keep the grounds clean & trimmed up, as well as it helps keep the rift raft out. We’re new, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed going.
Excellent place to shoot. I use it for test firing firearms I repair, and occasionally for my personal firearms-related use. For rifle and long range pistol, there is a multi-place 100 yard range with a metal roof and cast concrete floor, and permanent masonry bench rests. All are in excellent repair. There is a single-station 200 yard bench rest range. The 100 yard range also has 50 yard and 25 yard target stands. Substantial earth backstops are behind each. All ranges have wooden frame target boards with plastic “signboard “ surfaces that are periodically renewed. Bring a roll of masking tape and your paper targets. Extensive handgun facilities (25 yards) bullseye range plus steel knock-down targets that are resettable from the firing point. A tactical pistol practice and competition range is also provided. At each range all legally owned firearms are permitted. The grounds are well landscaped and are mowed regularly. Trash cans are provided, and these are emptied regularly. A Port-O-Let (cleaned and serviced) is also present. Other members I have encountered are VERY safety-minded and help make for a friendly, casual, but very well organized experience. Access is members only with access through an electronic security gate. Ear protection and eye protection is mandatory. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good place to shoot.
I had an amazing experience, and met some awesome people.
$175 fee for a year’s membership, no matter how much you shoot. No paid day passes to even sight in your rifle. Steel targets are only on pistol range, and are few and old, just a handful of plates on a line.
Great place to sight in your hunting rifles or carry the kids for an afternoon of plinking. Membership required that's payed by the year. (175.00 a year for your family) unlimited use for you and your immediate family as a member. Stop in champion archery on hwy 202 in the afternoon to pay dues. CCW permit or background check is required to become a member.
